Audits of Fire Alarm- and Suppression systems
Our engineers are certified by SBSC to carry out audits of Fire Detection- and Alarm and Suppression systems. We also undertake integrity tests of for example computer rooms.
Risk Management during urban planning
Risk management are a vital part of the built environment when planned in the vicinity of either hazardous goods transport routes, industrial plants, petrol stations or other hazardous sources. Our work enables the planning process to account for risks with the support of applicable legislation.
Risk Management for roads- and railways
We outline project requirements and follow up on them to ensure that these are carried out. Within roads and railway projects we undertake risk analysis where we treat the road and railway as a system and analyze the risks during different stages of the process. We also act as support to clients to manage risks within a project. Tunnels have specific demands regarding risk analysis and WSP have capability to undertake risk analysis and safety evaluations such that these demands are met.
Approvals- and Risk Management within the industrial area
Industrial facilities subject to authority approvals and ongoing reporting are affected by requirements associated with their activity which shall be managed both during the application process and the continuous operation of the facility. WSP support clients by analyzing and evaluating risks regarding severe environmental impact and the handling of hazardous material within explosive environments (ATEX) and those classified as hazardous or SEVESO-facilities. We support all entities in their Business Continuity Planning.

Our Security department offers safety solutions which enable organizations to function well within all risk areas. We manage risks related to persons, property, criminal actions, information and liability.

WSP offers a wide variety of specialist services such as project risk analysis, physical IT-safety, operations fire life safety and intervention planning. We educate staff by offering a variety of tailor-made courses and WSP is a certified instructor for hot work. Following a fire or other accidents we also undertake accident- and fire investigations.
