The bridge is only 70 meters shorter than the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Two 180 meters high pylons up carry the 1800 meter long highway.
The project, including the time for the design, was completed in 11 years. WSP has provided the design of four bridges on the High Coast Road. In total, WSP has been involved in Bridge aesthetics for seventeen bridges in the project, which includes design of 3 bridges in the water area, 5 viaducts, 3 underpasses under E4 and 6 bridges over the E4 highway.
