In the ÖRIB project (Infrastructure and Urban Development in the Öresund Region) both sides of the Öresund have cooperated to obtain a higher understanding of the future options and challenges expected for their common regions in the next forty years. The focus has been on infrastructures, urban development and business in the Öresund region. Please visit www.orib.se for more information.
The project ÖRIB is comprised of 26 Swedish and Danish public authorities, who have joined forceswith support from the EU’s structural funds for regional development.
There are also municipalities and other authorities represented. The Skåne Region is the leading partner in the project which started on 15 of June 2005 and will continue to 31 December 2006.
